A paintbrush holder maybe or something else than needs to count things and keep them separate.
A saucer with a fitted dish over the top with numbered sections up to 8 and a hole in the middle.
From B&G Kjobenhavin Copenhagen. Probably the 1960's.
The saucer is 17.5cms across.
