The only name I can find for this pattern is RWI 11 - not very romantic for such a stylish pattern!
This teal, pale turquoise background, white floral and silver trim is lovely, and I think this is a butter dish but it is so pretty it should be on a dressing table or sideboard not in the kitchen.
The lid is marked with black script for maker Royal Winton, A Taunton Vale Company Grimwades Staffordshire England.
An oblong lidded dish measures 13.5cms x 8.5cms
