Even though this is a pretty delicate pattern I can't find a name for it.
A wide lemon glaze on the rim is decorated with raised gilt swags or festoons and a rosette inbetween. Reminds me of a wedding plate.
Lovely for a feature piece for display or to add to a set.
Has the green printed urn mark and Wedgwood England to base.
Plate is 26cms across.
There is a tiny knife mark on the inner gilt trim otherwise in great condition. I love how they even but a gilt edge on the underside foot - such quality!
