This hinged box with bone inlay and of porcupine quill manufacture is almost 100 years old and in great condition apart from the locking mechanism. There is no key and the top part of the lock has worn off. It still closes securely and it doesn't detract at all from the look.
Original hinges work well.
It is 20.3cms x 15cms x 8.3cms
All the quills are intact and all but two of the small bone inlay pieces are intact, the missing ones being on the back and side.
