Makers mark on base shows S cross arrows F for James Shaw and Fisher Sheffield (1835 - 1894).
This silverplate biscuit barrel shows lovely workmanship down to the little rosettes on the hinges and pattern on the lid finial.
Stands 13cms to the rim and 13cms across.
Good condition.
