Claypits Pottery Ewanny

From Ewanny in South Wales where pottery dates back hundreds of years and made from the local red clay

Actually, this may be a lampstand as it has a hole int he base - not sure what else the hole would be for.

Very earthy and natural it is signed Claypots Pottery Ewanny

It is in a lovely deep rich terracotta colour with mustard slip glaze.

Stands 19cms tall and a really lovely display piece 

A few tiny nibbles around the rim otherwise good condition
