Clearly marked with the impressed Wedgwood name and the impressed three letter code GT E. The three tripod marks are also visible.
There seems to be some question as to how to interpret the letter codes this could be:
1st letter the potter G =
2nd letter the month - T = July
3rd letter the year - E = 1876, or 1902 or 1928, but as England was added around 1890 I think this is the 1876 mark? Happy to be corrected.
Gorgeous green with raised leaf pattern.
Measures 20cms across
Has all over crazing of the glaze and some pooling of the glaze on one side and the underside, rather charming and original. Otherwise good condition
