A lovely large rounded oblong platter in the Romantic England series from J&G Meakin.
"Compton Wyngates is in Warwickshire and built about 1519 by Sir William Compton"... and the story continues on the printed base mark.
Hand engraved and signed by Frank Trigger.
Measures 37cms x 27cms
Age has taken its toll as there is some crazing and browing around the endge of the picture which is still bright and clear.
Still, a nice large addition to a collection or display.
