A lovely pattern on this plate and interesting black trim make it quite dramatic
Made by John Maddock and Sons England with the shield and crown mark to base and impressed letters XXV D - would that be 1925?
The cream base paisley design is on a hexagonal shaped cake plate
There are some knife marks to the black glaze
