A plate and mug set from Vancouver BC Canada.
Dated 1967 on both pieces.
Very interesting pottery from Lambert Potteries Canada. The little brochure is still with the pieces and explains they were made by David Lambert in 1967 as a centennial project for Ryder Lake, Sardis BC.
Sgrafitto pottery based on the ancient petroglyphs found in the area.
Terracotta with black glaze.
The mug is just over 10cms tall and the little plate is 19cms x 11cms
Very collectable and in good condition with some crazing towards the base of the mug
