Made for John Bates & Co. Ltd Christchurch NZ by Hammersley & Co China England, a little heavily gilded plate, quite modest at 20.5cms across.
The edge is slightly fluted and raised and the edge of gilt is wide.
There are a couple of knife marks and a few places where the gilt has darkened
