In the deepest darkest blue glaze, these traditional Blue Willow plates are just lovely.
The simple maker's mark to base is just JAPAN
They edges are a little uneven and the pattern not totally centered so I think these are not from a grand master of pottery, quite naive in a way, maybe early attempts.
They are 23.4cms across
There is crazing but otherwise good condition
