A lovely vintage oil and vinegar bottle with cross over necks
Complete with original stopper and sterling silver neck bands
It is interesting that the stoppers are different sizes and fit into specific necks as the glass is thicker on one bottle. At first, I thought this was maybe to protect the silver from the vinegar but really don't know why they would be different. Hand blown with polished pontil marks.
Stands 14.5cms tall and 9cms across the body
Sterling bands have silver hallmarks but are quite worn and so hard to tell manufacturer or dates, one of the band has a bit of a gouge where the band has been dented
A tiny nibble on the foot otherwise good condition
