Liberty Tudric cast pewter oval basket. I have seent this design with an enamel inlay centre, this one does not have one.
It was polished pewter and it still have a good fonosh, inside has aged to a grey.
No. 0359 designed by Archibald Knox and made by Liberty and Co. about 1900.
Pierced gallery and fixed handle which is slightly off centre, and I have not attenpted to straighten out, needs an expert but seems easy to do.
Markings to base show, a registration number 0359 English Pewter Made in England.
Measures 23cms x 16cms.
